Reuniting with a global automotive supplier turning waste into premium design

We are thrilled to welcome Racemark EU back into the Healthy Seas partnership network—a meaningful reconnection that speaks to the enduring power of shared values and sustainable innovation.

The Healthy Seas Foundation is a global initiative that recovers marine litter such as fishing nets and, together with its partners, makes sure it is transformed into new products through a circular economy approach.

Racemark is a global leader in premium automotive floor mats, trim parts and accessories, supplying some of the world’s most iconic car brands—from Porsche and Bentley to Tesla and Cupra. What sets them apart is not only their craftsmanship and attention to design, but also a clear commitment to environmental responsibility and circular materials.

As part of their sustainability roadmap, Racemark integrates ECONYL® regenerated nylon into some of their car mat collections. This material is made from nylon waste—including discarded fishing nets recovered by Healthy Seas divers, along with old carpets and industrial waste. It’s a powerful example of how the automotive industry can help close the loop—transforming marine pollution into premium, high-performance products.

By partnering again with Healthy Seas, Racemark is reaffirming its commitment to environmental stewardship—not only through the materials they use, but also by supporting conservation, education, and awareness-raising activities that restore marine ecosystems and engage communities around the world.

Racemark EU is proud to be renewing our work with Healthy Seas. This partnership supports our vision to create circular products to serve the automotive industry. It is important for us to offer a range of solutions like using reclaimed materials, creating recyclable products, and cleaning up the environment. There are a lot of organizations talking about sustainability but there are few practicing it like Healthy Seas has done through their partners like Aquafil. It is a privilege for us to participate in these efforts.
Cannon Bailey, President, Racemark

Welcome back, Racemark—we look forward to what we’ll accomplish together on the road ahead.
