On August 2nd, we welcomed representatives of our partner DWS onboard our ghost net recovery vessel, the MAKO. With them, they brought a very special guest: 7-time NBA champion, Robert Horry, aka Big Shot Rob!

It was a great opportunity to exchange stories and to get him inspired about ocean conservation, which will hopefully lead to some exciting news in the upcoming year. The LA Lakers Legend autographed Healthy Seas t-shirts and our brand new childrens book which we’ll be giving away through our social media, soon!

Through DWS’ generous donations we were able to purchase the MAKO, carry out numerous cleanups all over Europe and make plans to expand to the USA as well as East Asia in 2022. DWS support is also outstanding when it comes to networking and employee engagement.
