On October 13th, Healthy Seas was part of the Luxembourg Charity Gala Evening held at the Abbaye de Neumunster and co-organised by Farad Investment Group and the Charity Incubator.
During the cocktail and wine tasting, Healthy Seas was amongst eighteen charities that had the opportunity to present their work to the over 130 guests, professionals from the EU financial industry, who were then asked to vote for their favorite.
Besides raising awareness about the ghost fishing phenomenon and our marine conservation efforts, this event was also a unique opportunity to showcase our circular economy model to impact investment and sustainable finance experts and become a lever of inspiration for their decision making. At the end of the evening, during the Charity Prize Award Ceremony, it was announced that Healthy Seas won 2nd place and we were presented a cheque for 2,700 euros that will be spent towards more environmental protection projects.
