We had an exciting time last week in Valencia, Spain with over 200 journalists and influencers from all over Europe at Hyundai’s Pan European Test Drive of the IONIQ5 (28 June – 3 July).

Healthy Seas together with our partners Bracenet and Ghost Diving Spain, organized a workshop for the lifestyle and sustainability media and took a deep dive into the topics of marine protection, circular economy and sustainability. Raúl Álvarez from Ghost Diving Spain joined our director, Veronika Mikos, to talk about the problem of ghost nets and the solutions we offer. Bracenet showed how to create artwork and different accessories from raw fishing nets, handmade and on the spot!

Veronika had a chance to sit down with Michael Cole, Hyundai Motor Europe President & CEO as well as test drive the IONIQ5. Martina Santoni from Aquafil was also there to give a presentation about their ECONYL® regeneration system since the mats of the IONIQ5 are made of this endlessly recyclable sustainable yarn.

Healthy Seas recently launched a cooperation with Hyundai, in line with the company’s vision of “Progress for Humanity”. Together, we work towards a sustainable future.
