A warm welcome to Kahm Sustainable Swimwear! The brand was founded in 2021 in Ireland by two swim-loving sisters. They offer swimwear for ladies, men and children and use ECONYL® regenerated nylon. They sell predominantly online via Kahm.ie and in a small number of select stores in Ireland.
“We joined Healthy Seas because we learned so much about them and the amazing work that they do in our journey using ECONYL® regenerated nylon for our swimwear collection. Our business is based in County Donegal, Ireland where there are some major fishing ports (including Killybegs) so fishing is a big part of our culture and unfortunately marine litter is a by-product of that. Through our partnership with Healthy Seas, we have learned that some fishing nets are already being collected from Donegal and used in the regeneration process. We are really interested in using our partnership to strengthen the collaboration between the Irish fishing community and Healthy Seas and increasing the amount of waste fishing nets that come from Ireland and are regenerated into the yarn that we use in our swimwear”. ~ Áine & Sally Anne
