A warm welcome to our new partner Molidae Design! The swimwear company has joined Healthy Seas and will be donating 1% from every purchase to our environmental initiative.

Katie Cadena, Founder of Molidae Design told us what motivated them to join Healthy Seas:

“A commitment to conservation is at the heart of Molidae Design. Our company was founded by and for people who love the ocean and marine life. As marine enthusiasts, it’s important that we stand up for conservation, take an active role in reducing our footprint on this earth, and protect the habitat that we love so much.”

Every Molidae Design rashguard is made with fabric that contains ECONYL® fiber, a 100% regenerated nylon yarn that is made from discarded fishing nets which pose a major threat to marine life. In addition to fishing nets, other waste such as fabric scraps from mills and carpets destined for the landfill are included in the ECONYL® process. Like all nylon, ECONYL® fiber is infinitely recyclable and provides infinite possibilities for future Molidae Design products!
