Our partner Zoggs, recently launched its new Ecolast™ fabric, primarily made from regenerated ECONYL® yarn. They will be donating 10% of their profits to Healthy Seas.
By 2020, Zoggs aim is for 75% of their UK swimwear to be made using recycled materials (60% globally) but their commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop there! The company is also reducing the plastic used in their goggle packaging by 57%. In addition, 80% of all packaging will include disposal or recovery labels.

We were very happy to welcome Zoggs in Den Oever harbour in the Netherlands last November to show the important work that the fishermen are doing for Healthy Seas. Thanks to their efforts and cooperation, we collect their waste fishing nets and prevent that they end up in landfills or even worse, the sea. Zoggs took the opportunity to film a series of videos which explain how their new sustainable swimwear fabric Ecolast™ is made, using 78% ECONYL® regenerated yarn.
